VIRTUAL PROGRAMS

Youth Sport Coach Leaders Fellowship Program

The Youth Sport Coach Leaders program is a free professional development course for individuals who support youth sport coaches. This 3 month program provides online training and support for Youth Sport Coach Leaders and utilizes the USA-Weightlifting Youth Sport Coach Fellowship modules that were designed in partnership with the Susan Crown Foundation’s Million Coaches Challenge.

Youth Sport Coach Leaders accepted into this program will join peers from a wide range of sport organizations in exploring ways to support and facilitate virtual and in person discussions with their youth coaches utilizing the Youth Sport Coaching Fellowship modules. All materials and related resources will be provided. Youth Sport Coach Leaders who successfully complete the program will receive the USCCE Youth Sport Coach Leaders badge.

Through this program, the Youth Sport Coach Leaders and their organization will be able to provide their coaches with Youth Sport Coach Fellowship self paced virtual modules designed through a collaboration between learning and sport coaching experts. These modules help coaches gain skills and knowledge about topics such as exploring their coaching philosophy, creating a positive culture, elevating their coaching IQ, and working with Gen Z athletes. Through this program, the Youth Sport Coach Leaders will have an opportunity to support coaches in applying the module concepts into action while growing their coaching community.

This workshop is facilitated by experienced coach developers who work across a variety of sport organizational settings.
