The 2026 North American Coach Development Summit will take place September 27–29 in Orlando, Florida, bringing together sport administrators, athletic directors, researchers, practitioners, and coaching education leaders from across the continent. This event is designed to foster meaningful dialogue around best practices and evidence-informed approaches that strengthen coach education and development systems across all levels of sprot. Through collaborative sessions and applied learning opportunities, participants will explore how to better support coaches in delivering high-quality experiences that enable athletes and sport participants to thrive. This year’s Summit will also feature a special partnership with iCoachKids, highlighting a shared commitment to advancing positive, developmentally appropriate coaching across youth sport contexts.
Summit and iCoachKids events are scheduled to begin at 10am on Sunday September 27th and the Summit will run through 4pm on Tuesday September 29th.

The USCCE is proud to announce a partnership with iCoachKids to celebrate their 10-year anniversary with a special event on September 27 in Orlando, Florida at the start of the North American Coach Development Summit. This unique gathering will bring together coaches, coach developers, and youth participants to showcase the impact of high-quality, coaching practices. Attendees will engage with leading practitioners and experience applied sessions that highlight effective coaching practices in action. The event will emphasize practical strategies for supporting coaches in the field while reinforcing the shared commitment to advancing positive youth sport experiences.

The DoubleTree By Hilton Hotel will be hosting our Summit in 2026.
Conference booking offers a special rate of $139/night. This rate extends on either side of the event for those who want to come in early or stay and enjoy the area.
Participants are strongly encouraged to stay at the host hotel, as doing so helps keep overall event costs as low as possible. Registration includes daily lunches and coffee breaks, creating built-in opportunities to connect. Being on-site enhances the experience—allowing for meaningful conversations, informal networking, and deeper engagement with colleagues and peers throughout the Summit.

The USCCE is looking forward to receiving a wide variety of program submissions, both academic AND non-academic, for the Summit.
All Summit submissions will be peer-reviewed for quality, clarity and program fit. In developing your submission, we encourage you to consider the following information and to review the program submission guidelines.
Refund Policy
If you find that you are unable to attend the 2026 North American Coach Development Summit, please notify us as soon as possible.
1. Cancellation of your event registration after May 22nd will result in no refunds.
2. For any cancellations before May 22nd, you will recieve a $50 refund. Please email info@uscoachexcellence.org for assistance.
3. Registration will not be accepted onsite, once the program begins.
4. Canceled registrations cannot carry over to future USCCE Summits.
