The Coordinator, Learning and Development is responsible for: 1) providing administrative support to coaching education programs, including the learning management system, managing enrollments, course materials, and reporting; and 2) supporting broad-based elite athlete, USATF member, and general community education programs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Learning & Resource Administration · Learning Management System (LMS) administrator for all coaching education programs, and assists human resources in enrollment/reporting of internal staff development programs Maintains online course catalog, exam question banks, learning pathways, and database records Identifies opportunities to streamline, simplify, and improve member experiences within the LMS and membership platform (Sport80) · Creates course evaluations and analyzes reporting to assess effectiveness of coaching education programs and instructors Coordinate development and publishing of a content library and resource center for articles, podcasts, and video resources for a wide audience, including coaches, athletes, sports medicine, and sports science professionals Compiles, formats, and animates instructional and presentation materials in accordance with USATF brand guidelines · Contributes to design of instructor and Level 1 Coach recertification and enforcing compliance Assists in drafting coaching education communications, including quarterly Track Coach publication, social media, eblasts, and instructional information · Provides training for instructors and staff on how to use training platforms for virtual events · Acts as moderator or course host for virtual education events and supports course instructors with technology Configure event registration for Level 1, 2, and 3 Schools and specialty programs · Processes event transfers, refunds, troubleshoots inquiries related to coaching education course issues; escalates to other team members and/or vendor if necessary, and creates reconciliation reports Creates and gathers statistical and report information for accreditation and grant applications Event and Support Functions Process Education Standard applications submitted for the USATF Coaches Registry Respond to member and instructor inquiries and support requests via phone, email, and Zendesk Assist with coach credentialing process at USATF Indoor, Outdoor, and U20 Championships and U.S. Olympic Team Trials Assist with event logistics and onsite presence at in person coaching schools, clinics, and coaching activities including the USATF Legend Coach Award, and registered coaches hospitality · Assist in providing administrative support to the Coaching Education and Coaches Advisory Committees throughout the year and at the USATF Annual Meeting Provide support on special projects and to other departments as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in education, exercise science, or instructional design Background in the sport of track & field as an athlete or coach at any level is preferred One to three years prior learning and development, training coordination, or teaching experience preferred The ability to work independently and manage various projects concurrently Must possess strong organizational skills and proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software Tech savvy with experience using online e-learning platforms, course authoring tools, Zoom and proficient with graphic design software
